Issued by the state of North Carolina in 1965 to commemorate the 1865 Civil War Battle of Averasboro and very rare. This bronze coin is the size of a silver dollar and features the NC state seal on one side and the leaders and landmarks from the battle on the front. Very few of these were actually minted and most are in private collections and not for sale! An extremely rare coin for the collector of Civil War memorabilia!
